A stunning island getaway where you’ll feel a million miles away. Surrounded by stunning beaches that Australia’s famous for, Stradbroke Island is a nature-lovers paradise. Keep a lookout for a variety of Aussie wildlife, such as kangaroos, dolphins and maybe a koala! Spot whales from May to October. Take the ‘Bluff Boardwalk’ around Point Lookout Headland with wonderful ocean views. Walk the long, sandy beaches. All on the world’s 2nd largest sand island. (Note that although seeing wildlife is very likely, nothing can be guaranteed.)

  • Stop to relax where you choose; throw a boomerang; climb a small sand dune for lovely view, or just explore the local beach.
  • Lunch high over the water with lovely ocean views.
  • Bluff Walk high on Point Lookout – with stunning ocean views over bays and beaches, spot dolphins, turtles, sting rays and whales in season.
