Brisbane has a population of almost 2.5 million and will host the Olympic Games in 2032. \n\n\n\n\nKangaroo Cliffs – Atop the cliffs overlooking Brisbane River\, Brisbane’s downtown & botanical gardens.\n\n\n\nNewfarm Park and the Powerhouse – By Brisbane River with lovely views back to the city.\n\n\n\nHoward-Smith Wharves – descend the quarried cliffs to cafes and a river walk beneath the Story Bridge.\n\n\n\nBotanical Gardens including river mangrove walk.\n\n\n\nAs we drive learn about the city’s history\, from English prison to modern metropolis.\n\n\n\nNote: As the conference will be at South Bank\, the guide will give an overview of what to see there without stopping at South Bank.\n\n\n\n\nDuration: 4 hours\, includes water and snacks \n\n\n\n\n\nNOTE: This tour is for attendees of the “ICCB 2025 – For the ‘Society of Conservation Biology’ Conference” and their family members.
